The beginning
Some people learn to cook from books. I learnt it from watching my mother — in a kitchen where nothing was measured, everything was tasted, and somehow it always turned out right.
There were never any real recipes. There was Maa's hand, her memory, and a running commentary of “thoda aur daal do” and “chakh ke batao.” The food changed a little every time — that was the point.
For years I just ate it, the way you take the best things for granted. Then one day I started cooking alongside her, got things wrong, asked too many questions, and slowly understood that the flavour I loved wasn't in the spices. It was in the care.
Mom & Me grew out of that kitchen. Her instinct, built over a lifetime of feeding people. My need to play, plate and reimagine. Somewhere in the middle, the two met.
So this isn't a brand that borrowed a story to sound warm. The story came first. The food is just how we tell it.

Mother & daughter
Two generations.
One love language.
One of us cooks from memory, the other from imagination. One reaches for what's tried and trusted; the other wonders what happens if we change it.
We don't always agree in the kitchen — and that's exactly where the good things come from. Her instinct keeps us honest. My curiosity keeps us moving.

The people
Made by hands that actually care.
Behind every meal and every board is a small team that treats your food the way we'd treat our own — tasting as they go, plating with patience, and never letting anything leave the kitchen we wouldn't happily eat ourselves.

Behind the scenes
This is where the magic — and the mess — happens.
Long mornings, full counters, too many bowls to wash, and a whole lot of tasting along the way.
